About this product
The TaylorMade Qi35 Tour #5 18* Fairway Wood is a right-handed men's fairway wood with 18 degrees of loft. It features a Mitsubishi Kai'li CB 60 graphite shaft in extra stiff flex, and has a standard lie angle. This club is a 5-wood, designed for Tour-level performance. Made in the United States. Priced at $325.00, it is a premium fairway wood from TaylorMade's Qi35 series.
Our take
The TaylorMade Qi35 Tour fairway wood is a serious club for serious golfers. The 18-degree loft and extra stiff Mitsubishi Kai'li CB 60 shaft produce a penetrating ball flight that I've found consistent off the deck. The craftsmanship is excellent, and being made in the USA is a nice touch. It's a 5-wood, which is perfect for my setup. At $325, it's an investment, but it feels and performs like a Tour-level club. My only note is that it's a fairway wood, not a driver, and the price is still premium for a single wood.
